Hi Beanielou, you're doing well yourself, every bit paid makes a difference to the interest charged. Its only because I do a couple of jobs and get paid 3 times during the month. But we have been skint keeping this up and its made me a bit miserable so next challenge I intend to take it easier. Need to get the life style / repayment balance right as its going to be a long slog.

This thread really helps me, the support on here is brilliant and it makes me want to do something about our debt every day rather than sticking my head in the sand.
This time I haven't smoked since 6th Jan 2014 and still going ok.
    Fingers crossed x

Getting a balance is to me the most difficult thing.
    We'll keep plodding :)

  • Thanks Beanie... I am back now :D Sorry for disappearing :o So you should all be updated on the first post, anyone that is incorrect please shout and I will amend it.
I promise not to disappear without warning next time... Thanks for your offer of help Jellie & skaps, the problem is only I can amend the first post, which is kinda annoying :( If we can work around it though it could be an option if I get busy etc :D

Oh and I payed £60 this past weekend :j

Heya, PAP - I finished a few weeks ago and am not yet in the completed area. :)
With regards to the challenge/help I have had a PM from one of you guys and I think its a viable option. However I need to contact the mods/forum team to see if its 'allowed' and if so I will set it up for the next challenge. It will certainly take the pressure off me as the amount of users contributing to this thread is huge... But thats good as debt is being repayed

If there's any way I can help, I'd be happy to.

£100 for me yesterday - going to tighten the belt to come in under £500

    £2886 paid to date

I think Im going to not quite succeed - that additional £1500 (+VAT) for the boiler back in Feb didn't help

Im already thinking about where I am going to target my next 100 day - I suppose it will have to be to pay the builder and get some holiday spending money together.

All quiet here - OH has gone shopping, just called to ask if I want an ipod - no I don't NEED one

I cant wait for his LBM:)
