What a bonus!

I'm watering our next door neighbours' garden for them while they're on holiday and they said they'd got some vegetables which would go off while they were away and they'd leave them on my step before they left this morning.

Got up this morning to find a bulging carrier bag on my step containing: baby potatoes, 2 carrots, 2 unopened packs of peppers, large tub of cherry tomatoes on the vine, a melon, leeks, apricots, peaches, apples + a pear. How fab is this... I will hardly need to buy anything this week :T

A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

That's a great bonus! I always give anything perishable to my neighbour if I'm going away too. She has two girls and is always grateful for spare milk or fruit.

I know, and the best bit is that now I really appreciate it! Before my lightbulb moment I wouldn't have been that excited about it but now I'm chuffed to bits.
