I applied for a job. The job type is permanent. In the 'duration' section of the job description, it says 'permanent ongoing'.
What does this mean? When does it end?

I think it means that its a permanant job, ie not a fixed term.

It means it is a normal job, not temporary work or fixed term contract. There is no end date, although like any job there are never any guarantees so it could come to an end at some point in the future because of redundancy, or whatever.
