thank you card ideas?

Hi, I am hoping you might be able to help - I am out of ideas this year!
I always do homemade thank you cards for ds (age 2) to send out after xmas/birthdays etc. I don't know what to do this year. When he was a baby I put a xmas photo of him on the front. For his birthday ones he did hand prints with paint and I mounted them nicely on cards. Our xmas cards this year I got him to stick glitter bits/shapes on to a xmas tree shape piece of card. I then scanned the pic and printed it onto cards.
That is to give you an idea of the sort of thing I have done before. Does anyone hae any good ideas for thank you cards?
You all have brill ideas - please help

My two did robin thumbprints; thumbprint of brown paint then thumprint of red paint to make the red breast; wait for the paint to dry, add a tiny spot of white paint on the front; use a thin piece of cardboard dipped in brown paint to make two short lines for the tail; wait for paint to dry; using a pen, draw in the wings and eyes/beak
I divided up a piece of A4 paper then stuck each picture onto a piece of red card - they really do look v. professional if I may say so myself, they did three robins each per picture
