Advice needed regarding a credit agreement

Having recently checked my credit report I noticed a few defaults from a catalogue company from 2004.
At the time I can distinctly remember not signing any agreement with this company. I can remember them sending a form to sign and return, but I did not complete this.
As I wasn't aware of the credit agreement and because the payments were such small amounts (less than £10 per month), I mistakenly paid the company every other month. This has now affected my ability to obtain credit.
Would I be right to ask them to amend my credit record and also provide me with a copy of the credit agreement I supposedly have with them?
The account was also settled in 2004, as I only ever bought one item from them.
Thanks.

Hiya, you can send them a 1 pound postal order and request a copy of the original signed credit agreement, if they cant provide one you claim back the charges from them, simple.
Have a good one,
