Will I get junk mail if I sign up with Confused.com?

I have been trying my bestest to minimise the amount of junk mail I receive over the past few years, and so far have been relatively successful (apart from Telewest who send me mail to 'The Occupier' even though I have complained many times and am already a full-bloomin'-service customer!). I am interested in signing up with Confused.com and getting a quote for my home insurance, but am a bit concerned at the large amount of data they require and wouldn't sign up if all the companies they search can spam me (whether via email or junk mail).
I have ploughed through their T&C and privacy policy and am just not sure if this might happen. Anyone have any experience of this?

Might these little clickables at the bottom of the home page be useful to read?

Under their standard T&Cs only the insurance company with the cheapest price is alowed to contact you further - that isnt to say that every insurance company on their books in on the standard contract though. All posts made are simply my own opinions and are neither professional advice nor the opinions of my employers

I've never had any junk from them and I've used them for a couple of years too. I only get the annual reminder.Marsh Samphire0

I have used Confused.com several times. I always enter an old email address that I don't always use anymore. Also, they say that they will email the quotes to you, but they don't, the quotes appear on screen in any case! As far as I know I have not had any junk postal mail caused through them.0

They were - I said in my original post that I had already read the relevant links on confused.com
Thanks everyone else for your replies - that has put my mind at ease that I won't (hopefully) be bombarded with junk through the mail - email spam I can cope with as I use a gmail account specifically for potential spam-catchers, but I hate hate hate junk mail in the post.0 -
once i signed up i got a telephone call. only one though0

Yes - I got a phone call too. I was very surprised as I thought I'd opted out but, buried deep in the privacy policy is the bit about their allowing the cheapest provider to contact you (bit more to it than that but this is the essence).
I didn't like being telephoned as I didn't know that it was going to happen. If I had known, I would have wanted to opt out. I think it's shabby to automatically opt people in and make it hard for them to opt out. You can't proceed without agreeing to the t&c and privacy policy and I bet most people don't read it all the way through (and I expect that many people don't read it at all). (Full disclosure: I did skim it but skim is the word!)
However, some (potential) kudos to confused.com - there appears to be a way to opt out but it's not that clear that it is a complete opt out and it doesn't appear very straightforward. Here's the bit from their website:
"If you are unhappy with this condition of use then please let us know but be aware and do not submit your details to our service without first letting us know and our acknowledging your request."
Of course, anyone using one of these sites may be in rather a hurry and will have to wait for them to reply ...0 -
If you dont want phone calls dont give them a number or if you have to use one like 00000 000000

Or you could use a throwaway email account. I usually use https://www.pookmail.com but recently this was acting flakey... There are others out there.
That way you have a valid email address (which you can look at) without the chance of them spamming you.0
