I am looking for a Playstation 2 (not necessarily the new slim one - there's not much difference is there?) - preferably with another controller and a couple of games - what's the best price people have seen?

Argos are normally good for deals like that.....

not much difference in features - it is network ready for online gaming though - but size wise, the difference is huge - the new one is 75% smaller than the model before.

Gameplay have the same deal as Argos on, but they have a sort of "pick'n'mix" deal where you can make you own bundle.

Its £99 for the ps2 and controller, and then you can add bits and peices.

also well worth checking their January sales ps2 list as it might pay off to order the stand-alone ps2 at £99 and the just add a game or two from the list. They have some goods titles in there
