Words of warning: always check your receipt when you shop at Morrisons.
Their 'special offers' often scan through at the normal price.
I always take what their shelf edge label says with a huge pinch of salt.
And judging by the numbers of other people I see studying their receipts, I'm not alone.0 -
I'd say checking your receipt thoroughly is generally good MSE policy. I've not had any mistakes form Morrisons though (must be lucky).sheeny wrote:Words of warning: always check your receipt when you shop at Morrisons.

I do a shop once a week at Morrisons and 90% of the time there is 1 item [sometimes 2] overcharged, so a trip to cs desk is in order... conversely, with a view to the Tesco's mis price thread on the grabbit board, I have never been overcharged yet in Tesco's - nor have I been able to find any of the misprices posted [or any that I think might be a misprice as I am going round]
just my 2p worth

I also always check my receipt, but when I have found an error they are always quick to give you a refund. You just have to go to customer services. Bit of a pain but at least you get the correct savingssheeny wrote:Words of warning: always check your receipt when you shop at Morrisons.

The best day to go shopping at Morrisons this week would be Wednesday. Every 4 weeks on a Tuesday the 'fresh food' and bread and cakes promotions change.
also most of Morrisons special offers last 2 or 3 days after the closing date displayed on the SEL.
