Just piled all my change into a jam jar and it amounts to £17.42. Go me!

Started my can bank for £1 and £2 coins today as well but not going to count that until end of challenge and then I'll add it to my total on 11th June.

Anyone got any particular reasons for doing the challenge?

I aim to clear my Egg Card by Easter (better check when Easter is) so plan to transfer the money to Mr. Egg. Card as soon as it hits my account.

My other reason is to start building up money towards a deposit on a house, although with all my debt it'll be a long will take a while before I get a mortgage but it'll be nice to know that my deposit it building up.

My extra money is to go towards the extra 6k I want to pay off my debt this year on top of the 4k DMP payments, if I manage this it means I will bring forward my DFD by 18 months!!

I have numerous reasons and to be honest I could do with making more than £1010, but don't want to set the goal too high and get overwhelmed either. I have a CC I need to pay off, need to continue to save to renovate my house and also need to save for my friends wedding abroad. Currently my thinking is that quidco money goes to the CC, any profits from matched betting will go towards the house savings pot and no idea where ebay/Amazon sales will go...possibly to CC to get rid of that, once that is gone I'll save for the trip abroad...I think...my plan is a little vague.

I could do with making more than that too but find it more and more difficult.. Gwen your year this year sounds like mine last year! I found coin banks very helpful if you're able to save any, most of my holiday spending money was done that way.

Probably the last thing I should be saving for is a deposit esp wi high CCs but not getting any younger and would love a wee place sooner rather than later.

  • Can I play too please? :D

I'm a little bit bad at signing up to things, making the money and forgetting to update / keep track... however this time WILL be different... I hope :)

I'd like to play for the Golden Balls - I am getting married in July so it is all much needed! Will mostly be doing matched betting with some scratch cards etc thrown in for luck!

Looking forward to hearing what you are all up to... woop woop - love a challenge!

No real reason for me other than it encourages me to actually do something money making! :o

    £5 saved from a voucher today :)
