In the forces it is known as "Wobbly" for a VERY good reason!
OPs are right though it goes down a treat. Never knew you could get it over here though. I have had it in Belgium and Germany (obviously) wouldn't have thought you could get it in France though.
Not Surprised to hear Waitrose have it (you can get Poitin in there)

You should have bought loads of copies of The Daily Express about 8 weeks ago. 21st/22nd April
I DID !!!!
There was a coupon for a FREE Kronenbourg from Threshers and Wine Rack
Was exchangeable for a 500ml bottle of Kronenbourg Blanc or Kronenbourg Premier Cru 6%
I know on the voucher it said one per person/household or whatever but I managed to get 4 or 6 bottles on each visit (2 or 3 times) to the 3 local stores participating in the offer.
Bagged about 40+ bottles for FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE !!!
Had about a dozen of the Blanc but I do prefer the Premier Cru !
And yes they were FREE cos the newspapers cost me NOWT !There are 10 types of people in the world. ‹(•¿•)›(11)A104.28S94.98O112.46N86.73D101.02(12)J130.63F126.76M134.38A200.98M156.30J95.56J102.85A175.93

You can find draught Warsteiner in most Daniel Thwaites' pubs in England. The posh glasses it's served in are pretty cool too.
It's insanely hard to find bottled and, in my opinion really doesn't taste as nice.0 -
Hi Fanny Adams.............. And I know exactly why it was called Wobbly, it made my body wobble many times (X mob 2) thats where I first tasted it. Yummy!!!!!!"Did you hear about the frog that broke down on the motorway???? They toad him away!"0

Luvly Jublee!!!! :beer:0 -
All this talk of beer is making me thirsty, although I will have to settle for some miller, it's not top drawer but is easier to slurp than stella and tastes better than other low strengh lagers.
Another quality white beer is Erdinger, on draught you get it served in a large vase style glass, and like Blanc, Hoegarden etc 4 pints of the stuff normally hits the spot :beer:0
