  • Really ripe blue stilton is my fav. Best to freeze it and then it goes really creamy.

Well I never knew that, must try it. I miss France, would buy a nice brie or camembert and leave it out to melt in the heat of a sunny windowsill.........droolarama.
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.

Mmm I love blue cheese, and cheese with fruit in it. I wanted to get one of the pots of stilton for xmas but they'd sold out when I did my shopping.

Well he's still employed by them, but not actually working-officially finishes 30th April,so part of the Xmas pressie was a sort of retirement present too-a trip on QM2 on our wedding anniversary, and some rather stunning jewellry to wear on said trip!Oh,and a slow cooker (thanks to MSE!)

I buy it from the Long Clawson dairy - it's home. £5 a round in the year but more than doubles at Christmas so we buy it early and store it

Our local MP died suddenly on Boxing Day. Heart attack whilst walking with his family. I knew him well through the shop, his attending Guiding events and DD2 was at school with his daughter. At the centenary launch at Belvoir Castle he was telling me how much he was looking forward to spending time with his family when he stood down at the next election. He was 63 and worked tirelessly for the constituency regardless of your political views. He wrote the letter to the jSA for me. I feel sad. Life is so unfair at times.

Sorry - been sitting on that for a few days.:o
