As for men, one of my many worries about dating is that I'm not really a 'kid' person, I don't want them (which puts half of the men in their 30s out) and I wouldn't know what to do/how to talk to them if I met someone who had them.

Talk to them like they're an adult standing in a hole. It works for me...

phew - back. Not a good day for there to be a 40 minute delay on appointments and me literally being last appointment of the surgery.

Think I ended up being more embarassed trying to answer questions about why I don't have any need for contraception (a follow up question from seeing my own GP initially last week and having to answer 'does it hurt during intercourse' - 'how the hell would I know' I wanted to say  ) more than the poking and prodding that was needed

oh well, blood tests on Monday. I only go to the quacks about once every 3 years, so twice in a week and then bloods on Monday is evening it all back out a bit! See where we go next really in a couple of months time.

She asked if I'd pop over the road to microbiology as the courier had gone. I felt my stomach turn when I got onto the corridor as it's right next to where I used to work and about 4 doors away from the Chief Executive who knew everything which went on with Cruella _pale_

I'm rewarding myself with copious choccies! :D

  • Thanks for all the well-wishing comments, everybody. Haven't had a chance to read them all, but the ones I did were heart warming.

I was very vague this morning as I was in complete and utter shock... but, I lost a very dear friend last night and found out this morning. He's helped me through some very very low points and even stopped me commiting suicide. He was always there when I needed him, even though he didn't realize!
I'm having trouble adjusting and even though I've barely moved from this spot, the past 8 hours have just disappeared in a mixed ball of anger, hate and tears.
Perfectly healthy at 28. I'm just in complete shock.

Don't know the cause of his death yet, but they think it's natural causes.
I'm at a complete and utter loss.

  • Hiya!

I'm about a paragraph further on with my essay (quite a long paragraph though :D ) and I stopped to have a little break and spend time with James. He got a Wii for Xmas so I'm having to share him with it (and visa versa, tbh. :rotfl: It's really fun). Now we're getting Domino's pizza. I really love my boyfriend. I don't say it often enough, but he really is my rock. And no, I'm not drunk. :rotfl:

  • Oh Fire, that is so sad and tragic. He was clearly a very good person and maybe the Angels needed him back x

Z, it doesn't matter what you tie to the car if you're looking for it on the wrong floor!
