IVE JUST BEEN OFFERED A FULL TIME JOB AND AM CONSIDERING IT NOW MY SON IS ONE.THIS WILL MEAN MY HUSBAND WILL LEAVE WORK.DONT KNOW HOW THIS WILL EFFECT BENIFITS.
WE GET-
CHILD AND WORKING TAX CREDIT
CHILD BENIFIT
DISABILITY (HUSAND IS EPILEPTIC BUT ONLY HAS FITS AT NIGHT AND THEY ARE CONTROLED BY MEDICATION)
CARERS ALLOWENCE(WILL THIS GET STOPPED)
HOUSING AND COUNCIL TAX BENIFIT
WILL IT MAKE MUCH DIFFERENCE AS WE ARE ONLY SWOPPING ROLES?

You need to report to all the different people about the change in circumstances.
Any Disability Living Allowance is not affected.
If you are receiving Carer's Allowance it will stop because of your full time work.
No need for :mad: , people always try to help but aren't always online reading every post all the time.Torgwen..........

If you wage is going to be similar to your husbands is now then you will lose your CA. Child benefit won't change. Is it DLA or DWA your husband gets? If it's DWA he might need to apply for DLA instead but I don't know, you'll need to call them and find out.
Housing and tax credits will be affected slightly by the loss of CA I think but I think they can still count you as a carer even if you don't get CA, again not totally sure.0
