Do Freemans 25% codes work?

There are a couple of Freemans codes on other forums for 25% off first order (not sure if I can post them here).

I've attempted one order with a 30% code which wasn't applied so I cancelled. Can any tell me from experience if the 25% will be accepted and so save me the hastle of re-ordering and once again cancelling? I'm looking to spend £200 on an electrical item btw.

Often the codes don't work on electrical items and i've been warned off freemans as they apparently are famous for withdrawning the discount if you do manage to get it and charging you full price...after the orders gone through.
