A couple of threads occurred a couple of months back. You may want to do a search for those.
General consensus is that they offered nothing that a broker couldn't arrange as the deals were the same.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). Yes it really doesnt seem to have taken off the way the promoters thought it would, so I don't see what you have to gain. if you are insistent on taking a mortgage without advice I suppose its ok, but mortgages can be a minefield to the untrained eye and you would be better to instruct someone and get advice than go it aloneI am a Mortgage Adviser
