I'm interested to know what people think about the current advert for the go compare website.
I personally hate them with a passion and can't even listen to them. I will never use their service as a result of these irritating ads.
So the questions are am I an unreasonable miserable git? or are they truly hateful?

The advice I give on here is based on my many years in the preservation industry. I choose to remain anonymous, I have no desire to get work from anyone. No one can give 100% accurate advice on a forum if I get it wrong you'll get a sincere apology and that's all:D

Funny the first few times, boring later but they acheive the purpose in that you don't forget them no matter how much you try. Whether they make you go to the site is another matter altogether.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

I agree with Peter- the fact that I know which ad you refer to shows that the ads are certainly working.

Lol my boyfriend despises them with a passion, he leaves the room if they come on. They annoy me a lot too, but I just sit through them in the knowledge it will be over soon!

I do exactly the same, thought it was just me being a Grumpy Old Woman :rolleyes: - thank God I'm not - and not alone! I will never use their comparison site as long as those ad's are on :mad: ...they make my blood pressure rise!!0
