Argos Breadmaker confusion

Options
Hiya,

I just bought the below breadmaker in the sale. I know i would have been bett off spending more money but diddnt want to spend £60+ only to have it sat in the cupboard if i dont ge bitten by the bug. I was gonna borrow / ask for MIL's good one but she gae it away to her cleaner/carer!

If anyone else has this BM can you help?

My instructions dont match the recipe book LOL i'm assuming by ultra-fast they mean fast bake? the only ultra fast recipe is for pesto bread no basic white?!?!
In the instructions it states that the fast bake is 1.5lb only and quick bread is 2lb only however recipe book has both 1.5 & 2lb on both options and even a quick one with only 1.5lb receipe! Also my BM has a 1lb option but no receipe! & no SANDWICH option whch is recomended for 1 recipe.

Have i got the wrong book or is this just an issue with a cheap BM?

Does anyone have a link to a good recipe site?

Thanks

Jo

p.s. i have got baby brain so it might just be me LOL

Don't know about the recipe book, but I don't put the basket in the dishasher as my manual said not to and I never have. I just fill it with hot water and give it a soak. It's pretty non stick so comes up clean each time.

I've used a bread machine cookbook from a bookshop before, so not the original one that came with my machine and that has been all right. It's been a bit trial and error but mostly edible!!

according to the 'reviews' on that particular breadmaker - it says DEFINITELY DO NOT IMMERSE in water. Maybe worth checking a website if there is one.

am just about to leave for Argos but could be some time as during the night SNOW FELL. have been researching various flours and the nearest shop is morrisons so if the car park isn't too slippery we will pick up the necessaries for the first loaf. i am looking forward to this breadmaking weekend.

instructions confusing because of the two booklets. OH made sense of the tables on pages 11, twelve and thirteen in the instruction manual. there seems to be a mistake on page 2 of recipe book which says ultra fast menu 2 should read ultra fast menu 5. anyway when wholewheat menu pipped i put in some pumpkin seeds. just had look at it and it was risen but has now just collapsed when the heat came on for the final bake.
