You've just reminded me of something else I never got around to do for christmas !!!!
I recently tried this method and added seeds to it (cress just to try it out). I did plan on making my own christmas tags with it, using some pansy seeds ...... hmmm, never got around to doing it!!
http://www.gardenguides.com/84361-make-plantable-seed-cards.html
I used an old photoframe, stapled some mesh fabric to it, and used a (new, unused !!!) cat litter tray.
Made it with my 5yr old, she thought it was great fun (especially when she turned on the blender ...... before I had chance to put the lid on :rotfl:

Ive done it with old photo frame and wire mesh... but it can be anything thats flat and allos you to strain out the water- you could look in kitchen department for a type of splatter/sieve and use that. You just need somehting that small bits of paper arnt going to fall through.
Go for it , its fun to try.0 -
i got a paper making kit from MIL for Christmas, the box contained a round ring clamp thing, the type that you would use for cross stich, and some white paper to cut up and pulp!!!
I bet she paid at least £20 for it!!!!!!
That means im gonna be pulping perfectly good paper to make new lumpy paper lolIt only takes a second to say 'Thanks, you just saved me a few quid!'

It was a little on the flimsy side, but it worked.A creative mess is better than tidy idleness0
