£34k paid off Jan - Oct 2009, totally debt free now (was over £50k at start of 2008:eek:). It was a bloody struggle sometimes, all luxuries were off until the debts were gone, much to wifes annoyance...though we have eased up a bit now that we're debt free, but anything we buy is now paid in cash..its a good feeling. Now saving hard for a house deposit, and rebuilding pensions that we had pretty much abandoned for the last 10 years, fools that we were!
£176, 339 !!0 -

This is brilliant!! I've been keeping a running total offline. Including Dumbledore's payment as well, which I think got missed from the running total, we now stand at an amazing:
£184,444!!!!!
When I can work out how to post the table without the formatting all messing up I'll do it!!

Can somebody explain what the running totals are? Are they what you have paid off your debts in total? They seem such huge sums of money. Or are they outstanding debt, and does that include mortgage? I cannot get my head round the huge figures. My debt is around 20k which is just about my annual income as well. I always feel really inspired by the dfw board, and am determined to make a real dent in my families debt in 2010.
Sorry for all the daft questions, I am loving how motivated you all are.:T0 -
