Argos "retro print" tea towels £1.49 for 5

I also bought these a while ago but found they didn't dry the pots very well and lost their shape after only a couple of washes

Ah thankyou, that's why I won't be buying these then. I can't stand tea towels that aren't absorbent enough. I have a dishwasher but there are some things I won't put in there and don't want to drain-dry and rubbish tea towels that just spread the water around are so annoying and get relegated to the bottom of the drawer for emergencies.

"Shrinkage will be plus or minus 5%"
so does this mean that they may shrink at -5% which means they get bigger or that they will shrink at either less than 5% or more than 5%? and if they actually shrink at exactly 5% can I get sue them for misrepresentation and get my £1.49 back (+ court fees) ?
I was also wondering which 4 were the printed ones and which was the plain one?
I think I may be going dotty....dunno why!

Just picked up mine! The blue and red aren't patterned so its 3 patterned and 2 plain.
I wondered about the shrinkage claim but it doesn't matter to me as I am using them to make stuff with, and not as tea towels.
Thanks OP!0 -
Thanks, have ordered 2 packs too. Can never have too many tea towels, even if they don't match anything lol.0

Thanks, ordered 6 packs - have got a dishwasher but we get through tea-towels like nobodys business as the kids use them to dry their outdoor toys (slides, cars et) and I get so fed up with them using my decent towels all the time so they can now have their own!0

Lol, my MFI bathroom suite is still wrapped up in my office. Nice to hear you have finally finished your extension, congratulations.:T
Are tesco still doing topps tiles and does this include paying for them to fit a bathroom suite not purchased from there. Or are you just buying tiles from there?
I have a plumber who can fit and tile but if I can use vouchers for tiles will be a little saving.

Hiya Flo, it only took 2 years or so ! Tesco are still doing topps tiles. The Topps Tiles tokens must be ordered by 17th January and be used by 31st January 2010. I'm using mine to buy tiles for the bathroom and a splashback for my range cooker, others have ordered wooden flooring etc. I dont think you can use them for fitting.
