I find that they have to be washed and dried a good few times before they start working properly. Using fabric softener is also a no-no

No idea, won't find out until they are dry . I rarely have problems with any kind of towels not drying things as I don't add softener to towel washes. Besides it's more hygenic to leave things to dry

thanks for that, are quidco still doing £1 for reserve items at Argos? If so, means I only paid 49 pence for them!!!!

I'm not sure. I've been looking at these with my wife, and think Argos would have to pay us £5 to take them. Them paying us £1.49, just isn't enough!!

What exactly do you have against these tea towels?

If your washing up fairy (my DH) wrecked as many as mine has over the last year, both expensive and cheap ones, you'd be glad of a fab little bargain like this. I am, so I thought others would be.
