Bought some of these today. They washed well. Proper cotton tea towels, not fluffy towel ones.

Are these the kind that won't dry dishes properly though?
(If you're ordering, go through Quidco, just copy and paste the Argos link).Money, money, money, must be funny, in the rich man's World!0

I find that they have to be washed and dried a good few times before they start working properly. Using fabric softener is also a no-no0

No idea, won't find out until they are dry . I rarely have problems with any kind of towels not drying things as I don't add softener to towel washes. Besides it's more hygenic to leave things to dry . I rarely have problems with any kind of towels not drying things as I don't add softener to towel washes. I'm not sure. I've been looking at these with my wife, and think Argos would have to pay us £5 to take them. Them paying us £1.49, just isn't enough!!Ask me no questions, and I'll tell you no lies0

What exactly do you have against these tea towels?
If your washing up fairy (my DH) wrecked as many as mine has over the last year, both expensive and cheap ones, you'd be glad of a fab little bargain like this. I am, so I thought others would be.0
