I put them on dd then fold inwards to the length I want and pin.....take them off her and cut an amount off.....usually about 3-4 inches (she is 5.1 and I am 4.11!!) then do the folds and sew up. HTH

they get delivered by home delivery network, they deliver til quite late so they should still come

I have to say though, that although first impressions were that the jeans were great, I'm used to ones with stretch to them, such as the Next ones. After about an hour of wearing mine, they were starting to go baggy and I can see this will be a problem.
