  • Do you mean a put together model ( like Airfix )or a ready made one?
There are a few jets still in use including the Tornado, Typhoon (aka EuroFighter), Harrier, Hawk ( Red Arrow) so do you know which one?
Damned if you do.....Damned if you don't !?!

Amazon are taking orders - might be worth seeing what the delivery date is. They have the pilot in stock at £14, which is the best price I can find for that.

Don't think my 8yr old knows they do a plane too - he had the tank and desert raiding set for christmas (thanks to Mr T), so I bet this will go on his birthday list once he spots an advert :)

Do people really buy these for there kids, i really feel uneasy with kids playing "war" , shouldn't we be teaching our kids to be nice to each other rather than teaching them to kill others

Tin soldiers, chess (it is based on the art of war), cowboys & indians - war toys aren't new - and children will always find a way to play wargames.

I started life as a parent saying I wouldn't buy my children (3 boys, 3-8yrs) anything to do with guns or war - it doesn't work, especially once they start to mix with other children - the kitchen tube you intended as a car chute is a laser gun, the Happyland train set suddenly has a teddy on the tracks, their favourite film and story characters are superheroes and cowboys - it's just a way for children, especially boys, to vent and explore - and so long as you instill strong morals it won't become anything more :)

My eldest got mostly HM Armed forces for christmas - he loves the vehicles, but the soldiers guns are already missing, and his favourite figure is the parachutist - he loves the fact it actually works. The plane, btw, has now been spotted and is on his birthday list for the spring
