Returning Wii games without receipt

Does anyone know if I can return Wii games without a receipt. They setill have the plastic wrapper on them so shop staff can see they are new.

You have just put on another thread that you had already tried to take them back to Argos. I had put a response on there about it.

Basically, the only way you can take them back to Argos without the receipt and no code on the packet is if you bought them by credit or debit card. Argos can do a search of what was bought on the card on or around a particular date. I have done this myself successfully on 2 occasions, once with a PS3 and once with a coffee machine.

perhaps you could exchange them at any game or gamestation store for trade in or cash but you will get less than you paid

my brother in law bought from either Game or Argos.

If they were Game then the only way you would be able to take them back is if you traded them in. Just out of interest, what games are they?

If you find you can't return them you could always put them on ebay

A receipt is not required to return any goods to any store. Only proof of purchase is required which could come in various forms e.g a shop loyalty card, a bank statement, credit card statement etc. The law is quite clear on this.
However the store do not have to refund you/exchange if the goods are not faulty. It will all depend on which store you purchased from and what their current policy is.

So Which store was it ?

decided to put them on eBay, much easier and will get more money back than Game offered as a trade in
