Nothing to report today, done a MS which should pay £12 but will count when cleared.

Jesa - fingers are all crossed for you here also, glad you have a little good news at last.

sweetpeas - definitely go out, and what's more, have a fabulous time and don't feel guilty about it. You are working so hard, everyone needs a little 'reward' now and then. And I also love fancy dress :D and have an array of similarly MSE outfits stashed in a suitcase upstairs. Whats the theme? I will vicariously enjoy your night out too if you don't mind :p

  • not been on for a few days but have been being very good! Have made £16 on ebay for OHs dvds!! Yey - Its ok he said i could sell them. Have also been aproved yesterday by santandar for a 9000 loan at 9.9 % which will replace my lloyds loan at 15.1%. I know its not exactly making money but its a big thing for me to take charge and get myself a better rate. It will be paid off in 3 years instead of 4 and will cost overall over 2K less in interest so am pleased I had the bottle to apply! Have also applied to change my bank account from lloyds so that should save me £12 a month once i've swapped! I am getting in control...
    sorry for the waffle!!

Sweetpea - GO OUT enjoy yourself... september 5th last year is the last time you went out you definately deserve it xxx

Good luck over the wekend everyone x

Jesa, that's great news. I'm glad something has worked out for you for a change. Fingers are firmly crossed here :A

Thanks everyone for the shuv I needed, I've just text my friend to say we're definately on and I'm going and not to let me talk myself out of it again! :o That's the thing, I always feel guilty for spending money on myself. Really I shouldn't, because it's me what makes all the extra bits for the family for hols/take aways and any other treats etc.. I just think £x could pay for such and such and I'm using it for beer money! :o

Shrimpy, it's an 80's theme. I didn't know what I could get away with on such a low budget (£6 in total on outfit inc all jewellery etc :D ) so I've just gone for leggings with the baggy tshirt and leg warmers etc.

I'll have to post a pic on here of my outfit over the weekend.

    xx

Thanks everyone. They said my dad shocked them all by not just still being here, but by seeming to be more healthy than when he went in! We'll know if thats right after the tests and if that is correct they will do a little bit of radiotherapy. He desperately wants to come home so I hope it happens. Its been 4 MONTHS! I might actually sleep tonight for once

Please do post that pic sweetpeas - I love the 80s. You could have some great fun with that. Have you got any crimpers? I'm thinking big crimped hair & lace finger-less loves a la 80s Madonna

Bless you Jesa, I hope you get a decent nights sleep now you're mind is slightly more at rest. Thinking of you.

I'm glad you've said that... cos I have the finger less gloves and I was going to crimp my hair... but cannot find my crimpers from years ago lol. So I'm going to do the high up side pony tail and a bit of back combing :D
Ok I'll post the pic, but if anyone laughs- I'll do my fame recital and you really don't want to hear me sing :-P FAAAMMME... x
