  • £50.00 cheque for my birthday from my lovely cousin :D.

A lot of you probably already know about this but in case some people don't -My friend paid for her son's birthday treat to the cinema (7 people) entirely by a using her Nectar points for Vue tickets - you get a lot more than their normal value that way. I don't do a lot of my shopping at Sainsburys (I'm a Lidl fan) so even though I was inspired, thought that it would take forever for me to collect the points, but when I checked the Nectar web-site I saw that you can collect points on Amazon & Ebay purchases amongst others - I never realised that  I've been missing out up until now.

Sweetpeas - I read that Kath Kelly book about this time last year and found it fascinating & very entertaining. I think I remember hearing that she was planning a similar "experiment" - living without heating for a year - think she picked the wrong year for that one.
