    Hi Dev and welcome to MSE. This thread should give you the tips you need to start; have a read around and get some ideas. Just declare your aim for the month and then get going!

    £22.34 for an Amazon sale last night. Nothing else to add at the moment.

    What does everyone sell on amazon and why not just use ebay?

    Books, CDs, DVDs PS3 and Wii games. I tend to list on Amazon because I can just list an item and forget about it until I receive the "you have a sold an item" email. You also don't need to worry about taking a photo of your item as you just add your item to the current Amazon listing.

    Also with Amazon, you don't get charged any fees unless the item sells. With Ebay, you have to pay every time you list & relist an item.

    So you list and leave until it sells? How much do you get if a dvd sells for £4? Is £4 a realistic price for say a random dvd.

    It's complicated. Amazon give you £2.50 toawrds postage (diff for DVDs than books, I think). But they also take a commission. Go and search for your DVD to see what it's selling for second hand, it's the only way to work out if it's worth it. Some big sellers list tonnes of things for 1p, which effe ctively prices a casuals eller out of the market.
