i've just tried this and it never worked it just reverted back to £4.99 for the keyring. Nice post though
  • The website now says "To claim your free Superman Keyring simply add the keyring to your basket along with any superman memorabilia product from play.com and proceed through the checkout as usual. The discount of £4.99 will then be automatically deducted from your total order."

It doesn't actually say that you need to buy anything - so maybe this is a true freebie offer after all?

as everyone probably knows you can get the free pirates coin at play without buying anything but there is also an offer for a cool superman keyring worth £4.99 for free when you buy any other superman product. however.... for the loophole, if you add the keyring and any other superman product (i used the pen) then go to the checkout until it shows the keyring at £0.00 then remove the pen and the keyring still shows at £0.00, click submit order and it goes through and confirms there will be no charge to the card.

recieved my order confirmation at £0.00

be quick, unlike the pirates coin this is a glitch and may not last long....

Not fair..stamping feet.... I just gfot an email from play.com saying that as I hadnt ordered the additional item and paid for it, I wont be receiving my keyring afterall. The offer clearly states apparently that you have to buy one other superman item....Anyone else got the same? BooHoo, was a great freebie too.:o :o

Has anyone else had a similar email to mine? i.e refusing to honour the keyring?
