There are so many diferent things that determin the price on a plasma screen.
Visit a specialist store sound and vision, richer sounds and speak to the guys in there, they will be able to explain all the diferences and show you the diference with the instore demos. Comet and the like very few of the people in there know anything about what they sell all they are interested in is shifting boxes and getting as much money from the customer becasue they have targets to meet. The specialist stores would prefer to sell you somthing you need and blows you away so you tell your freinds how great they were, you can also play them off against each other and they will knock the prices down. the big stores have a price they must sell at and wont budge unlsee you buy the warrenty's
FYI, Plasma screens start at 37" but are few and far between most are 42" or higher.
The only problem about going to specialist stores is you will see the diference between the £800 plasma's and the £2500 plasma screens and realise why people pay that much for a TV I think its worth it.
hey you dont have to pay the price in the shop get the model number and go home and find a chaeper price online then go back to the store and say someone is selling it for this price and see what they will do.0 -
