H all,
Really quick one.
I've been offered a 5YR Fix at 4.99 with First Active, apparently this deal ends today. I have decided not to go with it as the mortgage is not portable.
I have also been offered a 10Yr Fix with Northern Rock at 5.29% does anyone know if this deal will still be available next week ??? Or are all lenders looking to increase ht eprice of there fixed products.
Thanks as always

Hiya, NR have not given any notice that a rate change is imminent - we usually adopt a fairly soft rate withdrawal process, so even if the rate does get pulled early in the week, you would still have a few days to get itNumber 86 - Stole a car from a one legged woman... Excellent news dwight-van-man .... thanks for the reply. Now i can think about it over the weekend and sort something early next week. Very helpful info.0

No worries - just as a by the by, were you aware that Northern Rock do a 10 year deal without the arrangement fee for only 0.05% more? I'm assuming you're looking at the 85% band 10 year fix at 5.29% - the equivelent product without the fee is 5.34%. Might be worth costing out the difference.....Number 86 - Stole a car from a one legged woman... I'm just trying to be a better person0

Again thanks for the pointer I'll work that one out. It is the 85% i'm looking at .... out of interest do you know the rate for 90% LTV ???0

90% would be at 5.39% or 5.44% on the fee save optionNumber 86 - Stole a car from a one legged woman... I'm just trying to be a better person0
