  • Ok, well my first NSD of the year and hopefully the start of many more. I am not leaving the house today as lots of homework to catch up on though this probably means lots of watching TV thinking about all the work I have to catch up on..;)

I am also doing nights over the wkd which means that I don't get the chance to spend money so hopefully a few more then..

    Good luck everyone..

In 2009 (wasn't part of this challenge) an NSD for me was one where I didn't buy food/drinks.

Of the 365 days in the year I managed 129 such days (though a couple of months were particularly high, as our local S'flds shut down to convert to a Mr M - and for the 8 weeks the store was closed I refused to pay C00p prices, so took the car (or walked) further afield for cheaper prices on a less frequent basis) - but I notice that the number in each month started to slide dramatically after I started work in November......

I now work in a local supermarket, so have got into the habit of checking the Whoopsies for stuff we'd use "at some point" when leaving - and even, if I knew there was a lot of something in particular going to be reduced later, coming home, having tea, and going back around reduction time.

At a result, my ever increasing mountain of stock-piled items has been increasing at much toooooo fast a rate - and I'm stuggling to get things we need (such as frozen veg) into my freezers

I really, really need to curb this fascination with stock-piling on Whoopsies, so have decided to sign up on here - and am setting myself a target (again food only, at least for the start of the year) of 11 NSD's a month, with the exception of February which will be set to 10.

This gives me 131 NSDs in the year - so much the same as I had overall in 2009, but a significant improvement on the 8 in November and 7 in December ;)
