Evening all!
Ha-ha, Curly Girl, i tell you you remind me of curly wurly's and then talk of hot choc and baileys!!!!! What are you trying to do to our figures (I'm massively dieting - or trying too but failing tragically!!)
Yay- everyones so close now! I'm so pleased that January doesn't finish until next Sunday otherwise I think I might have been a bit ambitious raising to 22!!! DD3 thinks we're going out next Sunday clothes shopping for her ... how to tell her she'll have to wait until the following week???
Anyway, number 17 in the pot for me today - my 2 remaining spends of the week will need to be tomorrow and Thursday (car repair day), which means we won't be eating the week after .... no, I've done this wrong haven't I!!!
All I need to do is learn how to count and I'll be fine x
Well done everyone0 -
Another NSD today. I have 5 left to aim for in 8 days. Keeping fingers crossed.0

number 14 for me
only 3 more to go!

Hi all!
Quick question... I bought a few things today but took back quite a few too so I've ended today with £37.23 more than I started with (:D). Is this a spend day or a NSD (as I'd already spent it on another day)?
Can you tell I'm desperate to meet my target this month? *I want a rolling eyes smiley here... sob* :rotfl:Mortgage free as of 12/08/20!

Another LSD rather than a NSD. Hey ho! I'm hoping that tomorrow will now be a NSD; have decided to donate whatever I save tomorrow (was planning to do carvery Sunday lunch with friends, now postponed) to the Haiti appeal, so a spend day in reality. I'm happy with that.
I'm still anticipating making my three remaining NSDs to reach my target (fingers crossed). Well done everyone who has reached their target or is about to do so; hugs to those who need them. Best wishes, all!0 -

Oh Soz! I love chocolate and am not allowed it in the house (my rule) so its not eating at home that has caused my huge blobby midriff - it's eating out (which since NY we've put a temp stop to, to help waists and purses) and the effing free chocolate at work. Not kidding. FREE CHOCOLATE. It's no wonder that since joining the company 2.5 years ago I've put on over 2 stone. Feel disgusting and would love to be more like the old me.....especially as it would mean I could wear all my clothes again. I know I'm the only one that can do it but its just so damn hard with FREE CHOCOLATE around. Am going to have to pull my socks up soon as get back on the wagon - I've got naturally high cholesterol and am approaching 40 which means that things start to get a bit more serious in the heart department. Grrrrrrrrrr.
Not a NSD for me today. Went to pictures tonight. Better luck tomorrow?
Night all x0 -
I'm really late signing up BMF, would you put me down for 25 please. :j
Good luck everyone!
edited to change my target from 20 to 25 - I just did a tot up and I've had 18 already so far, so will try to do better by end of month!... don't throw the string away. You always need string!

Where have you found your smilies Solvent? I don't want to download anything so I'm a bit limited. Read this morning that some people have been offended by a few of the ones that come with the site & that's why they've been removed; innit weird what some folk get upset over, given the way the rest of the world is behaving...
Only joking BigMumma - you know we all love you :j
Crazy about the smilies - who would think that such a little thing would cause such fuss bearing in mind some of the really hurtful posts that are allowed on here (I would insert a confused smilie here if I could...). Found a great smilie site but don't want to get myself banned by posting a link so will send you a pm.
Anyway, back to NSDs ..... Another one for me today :j mainly though as I've been working all day and haven't been out. Hoping for another one tomorrow though I may be forced to go out and get some essentials - hoping that OH will "volunteer" though...
Well done everyone, we'll all get there, group hug coming up .The time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time

That is a massive amount Skaps! What sort of things did you do, cuz there's the Special Occasions threads if you've run out of--or would like to share--ideas for the next fundraiser.
Will pm you all about where i get the smilies, no need to download which is great.
I didn't really do much to help with raising the money. So i cant really take the credit but am proud of my school and everyone in it. We as a school had a non uniform day and also people had buckets at the gates as parents and children came in.
On the subject of the thread I am now on 14/15 :j. Today will be a spent day as i need to buy groceries - maybe Monday will be number 15?MFW 2016 No 68 £1300/£8500 No new toiletries Cook sth different0
