Hi.
I am in the process of setting up a DMP with CCCS and am about to send a letter to all my creditors with a token payment.
What i wanted to know is do I need to take a list of creditors to the post office in order to buy to postal orders or do I fill out the creditors name on the postal order after I have bought them ???
Hope that makes sense
Regards

A postal order is going to cost you 50p. http://www.postoffice.co.uk/portal/po/content1?catId=73500709&mediaId=73500713
If you are making £1 token payments that is alot of money wasted.
Do you have the bank details of your creditors, paying via standing order is much quicker, safer and cheaper.Although no trees were harmed during the creation of this post, a large number of electrons were greatly inconvenienced.
There are two ways of constructing a software design: One way is to make it so simple that there are obviously no deficiencies, and the other way is to make it so complicated that there are no obvious deficiencies0 -

If you bring in a list of who you need the Postal Orders made out to then the clerk can cross the Postal Order and print the various creditors names on the postal orders. This basically turns it into a crossed cheque which can only be paid into the account of the person/business named on the Postal Order.
There is a fee for each Postal Order, which will be between £0.50 and £10.00, depending on the amount the Postal Order is for.0
