One of the best reasons for getting a 19" screen is to watch DVDs, play games or do DTP work.
But with no DVD player or graphics card and only 256Mb of memory this configuration looks wholly unbalanced.
Personally I'd go for a configuration with a 17" TFT and spend the difference on upgrading some of the components in the box.

probably ok for office work but no good for games...presume onboard graphics and a paltry 256mb ram, no dvd writer....i guess at least you get a 19inch monitor which is wasted on this system

the delivery charge is outrageous but as expect from Dell

If you are capable you could source a better system for the money.....

the processor is ok for most, as is the hard drive....

oh and the printer is awful....i have one which i bought for 9.99 a few months back...it isnt worth that!

you can source better deals

saying that though, if you're a newbie and really HAVE to have a 19" (even though they have the same resoloution as 17" monitors) then its not that bad, but DO read the spec, the base PC has been REALLY cut down here to include the attention grabbing 19" TFT

pci express graphics, 512mb ram and 160gb Hard Drive plus a free printer.
