Tall and Plus Size Bargains in the Next Sale. General consensus atm on the Grabbit Board seems to be that the Next Online Sale is a bit of a disappointment, with the exception of Tall and Plus Size clothes which are advertised as "at least 70% off". Site is slowish atm.

Having had a quick look at the first few pages, there seems to be tons of stuff there for under a tenner. What do you think?

EDIT TO ADD. Hurry! These items are flying out in the few minutes that I've been looking at the site!

I am looking for some new skirts for work but nothing suitable left - 10/12 seems a very popular size. Plesnty of choice for the size 8s and 18s though.
  • wonder why petite range isnt included too, not that i need anything in petite, just usually a lot left in that range.

i actually think its quite unfair they have done the 70% off they ranges as you couldnt get away with taking 70% off size 8 & 10 only or size 5 feet only.

I got 2 pairs of plus size jeans for £15 - what a bargain! Im so chuffed as Evans wanted £15 for ONE PAIR - and that was in the sale! Its nice to see someone giving us bigger gals a chance to snap up some bargains :D

Glad someone else saw it too......was beginning to think I imagined it!

Didn't even know Next DID plus size stuff to be honest! Handy to know since there's a clearance store 2 mins down the road from us anyway.

Big one if you're plus sized - if you're near one, the Matalan clearance shops have the old Rogers+Rogers range in there and some highly bargainous stuff (I got a winter coat for £3 recently). I know the old MFI store in Sunderland became one and they had some really good plus size things in if you were prepared to rummage.

I hate loathe and despise Evans - rip off merchants and it takes skill to make a pair of jeans where one leg can shrink in the wash (since logically the other leg must have followed in the same laundry conditions).

I did quite well in the Next sale - makes a huge change for tall stuff to be cheaper than regular! I sat in bed at 7.30am with a cup of tea and the laptop and loaded the basket with about £220 worth of stuff. When I tried to go to checkout it put me in a queue for 15 mins (there was a countdown on screen) then after that time something weird happened and it emptied my basket and had to start all over again. A lot of the stuff had gone by then but I still managed to spend about £100.

I was gutted when the Rogers+Rogers shop chain went under - but got some insane bargains last time I detoured to the clearance shop when I was up near my mum's.

Now can we find a cheap as chips source for some tall (and somewhat wide) bloke's trousers? OH gets most irrate he has to buy from Slaters as even M+S don't go to his height/waist combo!

Would go buy stuff online but in the middle of quite a massive bit of weight loss so relegated to an ever decreasing sized couple of pairs of Asda trousers till I get to my target weight!
