Available not just on weekend days, but right to December 31st, All standard tickets to Up (2d version only playing) are available for 95p, plus a booking fee of 80p/ticket (rip off!) if booking online.

However, this is likely to get very hot, so suggest you don't take the gamble. When they did this offer with Ice Age 3, all of the tickets were sold within a few hours of this getting out to the different moneysaving boards!

Synopsis
70-something retired balloon salesman Carl Fredricksen (voiced by Edward Asner) decides to use his twilight years to fulfil his lifelong dream of travelling through the wilds of South America. Tying thousands of balloons to his house, he lifts off for his big adventure - only to discover that he has inadvertently brought a stowaway along with him in the form of Russell (Jordan Nagai), an eight-year-old wilderness explorer who is desperate to earn his 'Helping the Elderly' merit badge.

They do these offers every weekend and through the holidays and there are usually loads of seats if you just turn up and buy them coz don't think people can be bothered to get up so early lol. So worth avoiding the booking fees and getting there slightly early on the day to buy tickets IMO

Depends on the cinema. Last time Ice age 3 was on, some people thought the same, and were disappointed. For example, tomorrow is 3/4 full and you cant get 5 people in a row in Camberley. You're nearly left to choose just the first few rows and the dreaded beanbags at the front. Again, the vue's differ, but Camberley operates a numbered seat policy with an usher to make sure you sit in them. Again, at Ice age 3, this young usher lass instructed a big hulk to move - which he did to be fair!

Thanks OP! Have heard about the kids am but didn't realise they extended it over school holidays. Just booked 2 tickets for DH & DS to go to Cheshire Oaks Mon am. Not sure if DS will sit through it as he is only 3, but for £3 its well worth trying it to see if he is ready for cinemas yet. DH has been dying to see UP lol!! :rotfl:
