    no...i think u people r very
    sad
why ? because we bought chocolate that normally cost about £2 for 12p each or because you missed out ?

this is a site about saving money and most of us would not normally buy these items and so when they are on offer we make the most of it :rotfl:

  • Just been and got my 10 for £1.25.

Lady at collection point said that they were the last 10 and that they had sold 'loads' in the last hour and didn't understand why as she thought only staff knew about it. She asked me if they were showing on the website and I said 'yes' - I kind of forgot to mention that it was also all over HDUK and MSE!!

  • I have just got back from Argos. Got 10 x white and 10 x milk chocolate oranges for £2.50 in total so well pleased with that. Also ordered the extension leads people were talking about which were coming up as free for 2 of them. Charged £1.99 each but was still happy as they were still a bargain and also got 2 xmas swags with lights for £2.99 each instead of £14.99 each... Happy here and the chocolate oranges have July 2010 dates on them so plenty of time to eat them.
  • reserved the last 4 milk chocolate ones at the colne branch all the others were out of stock, got to wait till tomorrow to pick them up though so hopefully will still be there

    You've raised a point there.

This isn't much of an MSE thread.

Yes they are only 25p for 2, But that's 25p / £2.50 / £25.00:eek: that we could have saved as I'm sure most of us have only bought them because they're on offer.

Not to mention the additional costs - petrol, toothbrushes/paste, dentists.:D

    But do we care:EasterBun?

All views welcome, but you make a better point if you remember this is not a forum for SMS posts. :p

    What are you on about?!

With my ds in the house, I can promise you chocolate in all forms is a basic necessity. Lamp-post shaped boy with endless appetite for chocolate as GCSE support fodder (and perfect teeth ...natch!) Frazzled adults with stress related chocolate requirements. This has saved a packet - and I got in a healthy Boxing Day walk home from Argos too!
  • Not best pleased with the Rugeley branch of argos. Only allowing 2 per customer. I'd reserved 20 to give to a residential home my mum works at for new year. :(
