Thank you for this, I may download it as it runs out, but I have the reverse problem that I may post a thread about after searching properly. I spent a happy couple of hours today putting lots of seperate AVI files into Nero Vision Express and "making a movie" (basically connecting them up, adding music and titles and the likes", I then exported it and it is now in one MPEG file. I used to burn this to a DVD and Nero express used to be quite good - allowing you to design the welcome screen and the button for making it play. Unfortunately, it is not playing ball and won't burn. I have googled and there are loads of reasons potentially, but basically my copy of Nero is an old one and crashes anyway (v2). For my next movie making project, I will look round for a new product, but I now cannot bear to "lose" the MPEG file I have spent half the day creating (it plays fine in windows player etc) and simply want to put in on a DVD so I can send it to my mum and relations as a thank you. I am (as we speak) trying a 70% demo version of smartsoft DVD creator and it is busy converting from mpeg to DVD compatible MPEG but it is putting it on my C drive. I will obviously try just burning it to DVD but I am not hopeful. Any ideas are welcome, and sorry to hijack thread - will also do a search. Thanks
