:grouphug: I can't really offer you much advice on this one, telephone the CAB regarding housing and telephone Payplan or one of the other debt charities on Monday, they will help you.
Remember even though you are going through a very difficult time that you are expecting, try not to get too stressed out about it all, and enjoy your new baby.0 -

Sorry , but I dont think you will get the Surestart mat grant as you are not on a qualifying benefit.
Even if you don't think you are entitled to this benefit anyone who is pregnant should always check. I didn't think I would qualify as we were not receiving benefits BUT because we were eligible for higher rate CTC we got it. It was not offered to us, we had to ask. I think people are losing out on this benefit by thinking they are not entitled to it.Quality is doing something right when no one is looking - Henry Ford

I get tax credits only but at £49 per wk, this is not a higher rate is it?
My partner is not getting incapacity at a higher rate either. He has to keep on reapplying, I think....:wall:
