Evening all,
I'm a bit pushed for time and wondered if anyone had any tips for shelling broad beans quickly?
Thanks in anticipation

I don't think there's a quick way - they are tough blighters. My way is to rope the kids in!!!
By the way, do you then blanch the beans and pop them out of their 'inner' skins?? I used to hate broad beans until a recipe recommended that you do this - then you are left with a lovely pea green bean that holds it shape if lightly cooked (I do mine with spring onion or shallots, butter, bacon bits and a dash of white wine). Yum Yum!Taking control, slowly.:rotfl: :rotfl:0
