I can't remember who posted recently about Quidco but I joined when I read it here & saw the 10p's mounting from my Kelkoo searches!
Anyway, today I took out a bargain low price online mobile phone deal with a major company but thru' Quidco & when I checked my 'earnings' later it was £72 in the 'Tracked' column - Yippee! :-)
My question is, what does the amount need to be in the 'My Settings' Minimum Payout box? at the moment it's 0.00 - do I need to change this so the payment can be paid to me in July or is it OK (it was the default setting)?
Thanks in advance for any help :-)

Leave it at 0, and you'll get paid for any value above 0...
i.e. everything.
The only reason you might wanna change it is so Quidco dont paypal you 10p for a single click thing.
Once paypal take their fees off, its hardly worthwhile doing it unless you have built up a considerable amount.
Change it if you want, I haven't bothered.0 -
Hi, Thanks for your reply, I will leave it as it is then. I actually set up a new PayPal account just for Quidco - a 'personal' one so that I won't receive any fees on my earnings :-)0

This sounds like a thread where I might get some help!
Joined quidco today and applied for an A&L loan via the quidco link - there is an £80 bonus for doing so by June 30th (goes back to £55 after that date apparently).
I have my current account with A&L and also a car loan - still ongoing. When I clicked on the quidco website to be directed to A&L, it showed 'pop-ups OK'.
As did the A&L website. Sadly I hadn't read through quidco's 'Tips for getting started'.
I have never applied for a loan via anybody other than A&L (the car loan) and now quidco. Crunch question - have I messed up? It is such a large benefit, I would hate to have lost it on a technicality. My instinct is to e-mail quidco but they seem to discourage e-mails and I'm worried about losing some of the bonus (from things I read 50% - wow!!) just for asking them if (in the circs) I will be entitled to the £80. I don't find it easy to find quidco's e-mail address on their site anyway but it seems spentafortune knows it!
I find the use of the term 'tracking' a bit odd - does it just mean 'bonus credited to your account'?
I am not certain to get the loan from A&L of course and then this whole query could be unnecessary but please give me hints of how I can establish that I will get the £80, if A&L say yes. It looks as if bonuses are sometimes credited very quickly but sometimes you have to wait a while. So, if it's the latter, the June 30 date comes into the equation.
Thanks all in advance.0 -
schiff,
I am not 100% sure, but it sounds from your email as though you logged into Quidco, then clicked on the A&L link and applied for your loan? If you did this (and provided there are no technicalities as you've mentioned you hadn't checked cookies etc) then the cashback *should* track.
Have you looked in the earning section to see if it showing up there? If not don't worry, as sometimes cashback can take a while to track anyway. If after a week it is not showing in the earning section, then you can click on the link at the bottom of th earning page to query a missing transaction.
If A&L are known to be slow for tracking, Quidco will then tell you so. If it should have tracked by now, they will investigate for you - although as you say you may only get 50% of the cashback in that case.
In future, make sure you follow the suggestions on the Quidco site - clearing cookies etc - before doing any more transactions, so that you can be sure they will track.
Good luck.0
