There is currently a grabbit on adidas jogging bottoms, but I can't see a thread for the sale in general.
The sale section of the website now has amazing markdowns, especially for winter and outdoor gear ... I've just got Karrimor outdoor shoes for £16 (from £69.99), a ladies Londsdale jacket for £6 (from £59.99), .. and in total I spent £59 for RRP £324.92 worth of stuff

I'd love to know where they were actually on sale for £69.99/£59.99.
Sportsdirect own both brands so I suspect the RRPs are somewhat inflated.0 -

Karrimor are owned by sports direct?? I remember a few years back when I went hiking I was looking in proper hiking shops and they were selling karrimor shoes for £85+ I thought they were quite a respected brand in the hiking world

Sports direct own quite a few well known brands - they acquired Canterbury clothing last year and being honest I was not impressed with the quality! DS rugby boots lasted less than a week at rugby school, so we went back and changed them for Gilberts which have pounded up and down the rugby pitch with no issues ever since :rolleyes:Free/impartial debt advice: Consumer Credit Counselling Service (CCCS) | National Debtline | Find your local CAB0

Yup, they sold themselves out to the devil.
I have noticed thought lately that there appear to be 2 different ranges of Karrimors appearing - the cheap nasty ones in SD and slightly better built boots using 3rd party soles.
Personally, if I was to spend proper money on a pair of walking boots (which I do from time to time) I would probably be looking at a pair of Merrels or if you can afford it North Face / Berghaus. You'll find them lasting longer than the 3 months my previous pair of Karrimor boots lasted. The smaller the monkey the more it looks like it would kill you at the first given opportunity.

Mine only lasted two months and when returning to Sports Direct was told what do you expect for the price?
Extremely unhelpful, had to go to Local trading Standards to get resultDamned if you do.....Damned if you don't !?!0 -
Hmm shoes don't sound so great now, my main mode of transport is on foot, so walk loads everyday. Just didn't have alot of money for comfy shoes, .. I shall see what I think and maybe return them before wearing. On a positive note I got Airwalk and Kangol tops from a few quid which I would hope to be a decent quality. I know Sports Direct are cheap all year round, but thought their current sale was a good one nevertheless. You just need to seperate wheat from the chaff like most of these shops0
