I had no use for it, so posted around MSE and on other forums that if anyone could come and collect it, I was happy to give it away. Unfortunately although I had a few requests to post it out, no one could come and collect.
However . . .
My next door neighbour's sister and their family are fosterers. They were coming to visit them on Christmas Day.
Late on Christmas Eve they were asked if they could take an emergency case - a seven year old girl.
Obviously it was too late to buy her anything - so hammie found a home. And a sad little girl had a big smile on her face when she came to visit, and was told the Santa realised he'd forgotten to leave anything at the foster house for her, so he'd dropped it off next door, because (as he's magic) he knew she'd be there later on.
So at least he found a happy home
