Question about nigella mini xmas puddings ?!?

Options
Sounds daft but do you cook the xmas pudding before crumbling it into the melted chocolate?
Cheers :)

Yes - it's meant to be with 'left over' pudding but as we hate the stuff I just cooked the pudding and then used it.

I've given away so many this Christmas - been really well taken as most remember them from last year. Beauty is that cos we don't like it none get eaten before being given away!

I hope you enjoy making them! The fiddly bit is cutting up the decoration, and please do use plastic gloves for making the balls, otherwise you will really end up wearing most of the mix.

    Thanks :)
Mine are done but I forgot the green food colouring for the holly :/

A good tip though is to chill the mix until quite firm before rolling into balls :)

Got 1.3kg of Xmas pud on market yesterday and used half to make the bon bons, the other half is for today. Cooked it in micro and it was perfect and whoops there was enough to go with a drop of cream for the cook! Oh and the pud cost a quid!!!
