Credit report - how do I find out my credit rating?

I've decide I'm going to write myself an action plan for the next 6 -12 months about how I'm going to go about sorting my debt out. But I've been thinking that I should really look at my credit report to find out what my credit rating is. But how do I go about this and how much does it cost me? I'd really appreciate your help as I want to get the balling rolling...NOW!

Alternatively, you can send the statutory £2 fee to either or all of the main credit reference agencies - Experian, Equifax or Call credit with a covering letter requesting your files.Donedoingdebt Lightbulb moment January 2000. I have just been charged £4.99, for APPARENTLY INADVERTANTLY requesting my Credit Score. Join for 30 days FREE, and you can see/print your Credit Report, which is the only useful info anyway.
I concluded from the advice of the Experian phone operator, that you do have to very careful not to order the meaningless credit score, and therefore paying £4.99.
Experian seems to derive significant income from this low trick, so proceed with caution. Refunds are out of the question.0 -
Ask for it back and complain, then cancel your account before you get charged again.C_Pochin wrote:I have just been charged £4.99, for APPARENTLY INADVERTANTLY requesting my Credit Score. Join for 30 days FREE, and you can see/print your Credit Report, which is the only useful info anyway.
