Working abroad

in Cutting tax
Hi,
I'm going to start a job on 3rd july working in the netherlands but i'm being paid into a uk bank account and the contract is a uk (ie I get UK bank holidays off even though I'm over there). This is a graduate job where I'll be moved after 8 months but i don't know where, it could be in northern europe or back in blighty.
Since I'll be working abroad but earning in this country, does anyone know what the tax implications are for the scenarios I come back to Uk after 8 months and that I don't?
cheers
