They're coming with me - the plan is for me to ring Stu as soon as they wake up, and he will come straight down to my house (he only lives a few streets away).
He will stay and have the morning with the kids (and I will have a quick visit from Mr Sunday....did I mention that), then just before lunch we will set off for my Mum and Dad's, where we will stay until mid-afternoon boxing day.
Then I will come back home and the kids will stay at Stu's on Boxing Day night.
I asked if he wanted to have them New Years Eve, as I've had them for Xmas. He said he had made arrangements to go to a party. I asked if there would be other kids - he said yes, probably. So I asked if he wanted to take them, and he said he would let me know. He still hasn't done.
I'm quite happy to have them with me the whole time, but am just a bit annoyed that he seems to want to do the absolute bare minimum.
Anyway, I wont dwell on that. Really looking forward to seeing the kids enjoying tomorrow."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -

Snow stopped this morning, there'd been another couple of inches overnight though so most of it's still here.
Found a nice pair of jeans in Dorothy Perkins for a tenner, postage was £4 though. I suppose it's still pretty good though. Hardly anywhere has wide/boot cut jeans, and as a size 20 (I think, I'm an 18 in skirts but I'm usually bigger in jeans) there's no way I'm inflicting myself in jeggings on the world!Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0 -
Are the kids coming with you or are they going to Stu??
I know ive done nothing but be a misery this week but can I just say I have the sore throat from hell Pah!
I just also wanted to say Thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone who has been there for me this week, from your supportive words to virtual hugs. I truely believe I would have been in the nuthouse today if I hadn't had constant reassurance and support from people here...I love you all and can't thank you enough Mwah xxx
I feel exactly the same way so thank you for me too xxxxx

Oh my word, my lil brother and his best mate are sat in the kitchen wrapping presents, the noise :rotfl: It would seem they aren't that good  He has brought Mum a new kettle, he has got more than that thank heavens but at least this year she actually has stuff to unwrap :T :rotfl:
Snaggs, grr at Stu but at least they will see him xmas day. You look like you will be busy tonight then  I hope you have fun anyways
Sally, *hugs* to you. There is no need to thank us though because you will repay that kindness in a few months time. Its all give and take here, sometimes you will give more and sometimes you will take... Thats lifeI hope you and Bea have a fabby christmas, and you get a few goodies...
Ames, have fun in the sales shopping. I am going to town on my birthday so I hope things are left. However I have just found out my sister is giving me vouchers for somewhere near work  It wouldnt be too bad but I wont shop there till mid January and I was going to put the money she gives me towards my debt. Ho hum....0 -
Snags he's the one thats missing out, idiot but equally you need your time too...tricky to get that balance isn't it.
Pap its annoying that they start all the sales early now, I remember as a teenager always being able to go to the sales with birthday money...sales start before christmas now and there is nothing left by new year!I'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway ....

Me too Sally. Although now I'm older I don't get birthday money (or presents) so it doesn't bother me as much!
Pap, I've had lots of fun, my fondness for coloured tights has grown and been fulfilled! Got all the bits of clothes and things I needed, and kitchen bits. Only problem was I kept wanting to add pyjamas and hats for venice, had to keep reminding myself that they wouldn't get here in time. But now I know which shops have what, so on boxing day it'll be quick in town - Accessorize for a hat, and New Look for pj's, and maybe a cross body bag I saw for £2.50 - so it's safer in case of being snatched.
Still haven't done any houswork though, oops, and I need to take the neighbours cards round, I'll do that first thing I think.Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0 -

I know  They used to be called January sales for a reason :rotfl: Its an annual thing me and Mum does now so I wouldnt give it up but all thats left is the tat no one wants  I am sure we can hunt some nice things out. There isnt much on my list I want only a new diary, christmas cards, a sugar thermometer, yankee tarts and a sealed tin. I am sure I can find some of that at least.... we will soon find out only 7 days till our birthday :T I hope you enjoyed the chocs, bit early but as long as you enjoyed them0 -

Ames, you have done really well. Are you going to get a new lappy? If you are get it before the 1st becauce the tax rate goes back up. Speaking of clothes I now have nothing that fit  Again! I know Mum has brought me some new trousers though in a lower size for tomorrow so thats fab. Fed up of buying new stuff now  However primark is in town so I may grab some cheap things on my birthday. If only clothes were a) cheaper and b) easier to buy :rotfl:
Oh and dont worry about the housework, relax....0
