Feeling like we're going no-where!

Hi Sorry me again,

Just wanted to do a quick post to see if anyone feels the same.

I feel so disheartened at the moment, i feel that our life is going no where. Don't get me wrong i'm pleased that we went br in Sept 08 and now being discharged it's even better and only 18 left on the payment plan. But saying all that i still feel like life is just passing us by. Were both only 30 and all of our friends are settling down in their beautiful house with their beautiful children and we have neither and it's really getting me down. Is there anyway out of this? Is life ever going to get better..

Skint all the time, I got paid today a good wage and after paying everything out I've got left about £180 to last me until 26th January.. what a shitter. Can't even afford to buy my husband a Christmas present but i'm sure he will be pleased with something money can't buy.

We also need to move house next year as we live a million miles away from any of our friends and family and i'm worried about that too. What will the landlords say, will they want a bankrupt couple with two cats probably not!! however we have never missed a payment and i'm like mrs buket when it comes to cleanliness.

but one thing that does put a smile on my face is that we are completly debt free, PHEW!

droan moan droan......... sorry just needed to get that off my chest and it thought it may help some people to know what being br is like...

  • Don't let it get you down... look at from a differen't perspective maybe?

You have husband and he has you, you have NO debt and two cats to entertain you, which are cheaper than children :p

Forget what 'the Jones' are doing with there lives, it's not important... Just look forward to a new year you can both enjoy

P.S. You will probably find that most landlords WANT people in there properties. When the OR notified our landlord she rang and basically said 'I don't care, you pay on time' so like others have said, look around and explain if you feel you have too... there are plenty of landlords out there more than willing, worst case is they will want 3 months upfront or something.

Ah bless you. i know how it feels, felt like crying this morning after finding that starting a business and trying to get public liability insurance is another kick in the you know wheres. however, i log on this board and call my sister and i realise life isn;t about credit scores and lots of money (same as xmas) it's about each other, and a hug and a kiss cost nothing. heard a wonderful idea for a xmas present the other day and it's cheap too. Write out 52 reasons (on seperare pieces of paper) why you love your partner and put in a box for him to open, tomorrow, he will have the assurance you love him for ever, and that's not a bad present at all. xxx
