My Hotpoint Fridge Freezer has started playing up red light on / off and fridge warm / cold. 8 years old and Hotpoint want £125 to repair!

Are the JL own brand fridges any good as they have one on there that is £549 that is the same size as my current one?

Also when JL deliver will they put the fridge where required in kitchen? As it isn't really installation it is just delivereing to room I want it in?

JL products are Electrolux (AEG, Zanussi etc), but they come with a 2yr guarantee. Great customer service when my freezer broke down. I had a fridge-freezer delivered a couple of months ago ago and they did carry it to the place I wanted in the house. It was delivery from the store though, not sure if the national delivery companies are any different.

Rang them up and they said will be same as store will put in place and take packaging. So ordered a £549 JL one that is almost identical to the £740 AEG one. AEG make the £549 one apparenlty. JL told me AEG make the high end JL ones and Zanussi the others.
