Help needed please with dehydrating food

    Also probably worth mentioning that the vitamins etc are all bound up by phytic acid and this is what is supposed to be removed when the seeds are submerged in water for seven or more hours.

    So for people like me who use the full grain (I grind and flake my own seeds and grains) its worth soaking first and then drying again to release the full vitamins of the grain. This isnt needed for people who buy rolled oats etc as these are steamed so the vitamins are already released.... unfortunatley a lot are also lost due to making them fit to last on a supermarket shelf.
